Nearly 300 people living over a contaminated aquifer in southeastern Utah are being forced to consider relocation.

The residents say no state, federal, or tribal officials care about the dangerous conditions below the White Mesa uranium mill in southeastern Utah.

Multiple heavy metals, including uranium, have been steadily increasing in the aquifer. The mill still actively processes waste.

Tailing ponds were installed in the 1908s, but the seals they were lined with had only a 15 year life span.
