15:51 2014

Updates for the Slide and Galahad fires included good news for residents displaced by the Slide fire as the County Sheriff’s Office reopened US 89A at Slide Rock State Park to residents only on May 29. Currently, only verified residents are being allowed past the roadblock. Also work will get underway to restore electric services. For public safety reasons and to help limit traffic congestion for returning residents, non-residents will not be allowed beyond the roadblock.
