Page City Council and Tourism Work Sesssion

A Page City Council and Tourism Joint Work Session has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2014 before the regular City Council meeting to discuss the Tourism fiscal Year 2014/15 Budget. The session involves presentations and discussions among City Staff and Council Members. No legal action will be taken. The meeting is open to the public and will commence at 5:30 P.M.

worksessions_smallThe regularly scheduled City Council meeting will commence at 6:30 P.M. and includes the following New Business agenda items:

  • Discussion and possible action by the City Council pertaining to a Memorandum of Agreement between the Tourism board and the John Wesley Powell Memorial Museum regarding Visitor Center operations.
  • Discussion and possible action by the City Council pertaining to repealing Chapter 2, Article 12 of the Code of the City of Page, Parks, Recreations and Beautification Advisory Board – Ordinance 609-14-1st reading
  • Discussion and possible action by the city council pertaining to a renewal of the City of Page membership in the Rural Arizona Group Health Trust (RAGHT) – Resolution 1123-14
  • Discussion and possible action by the City Council pertaining to a proclamation designating April 2014 as Fair Housing Month
  • Discussion and possible action by the City Council pertaining to a proposed Special Event Application
