Lighting Code Topic for Page City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting

Page City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a joint work session at 5:30 p.m. on October 12th to discuss an amendment to the City of Page Zoning Code Section 7.5 Lighting. This meeting and the regular City Council meeting following it at 6:30 p.m. are open to the public and held at 697 Vista Avenue.

The public is encouraged to attend and may address the City Council during the Hear From The Citizens portion of the meeting.

There are no agenda items under Unfinished Business. Under New Business, Certificates of Appreciation will be presented to Larry D. Clark, Sr. in recognition of outstanding service and dedication to the City of Page for landscaping and beautification of Navajo Wall and presented to Grant Gardner in recognition of outstanding service and dedication to the City of Page for the Vermillion Cliffs entrance.

There will be discussion and possible action to authorize accepting RICO money to purchase an evidence burn barrel. There will be two executive sessions for the Council to discuss and take possible action pertaining to the evaluation of City Manager Crystal Dyches and City Clerk Kim Larson.

Agendas are posted at City Hall, Arizona Justice Building next door, and at the Page Post Office lobby. Supporting documents and Staff reports, which were furnished to the City Council with the agenda, are available for review at www.CityOfPage.org or the City Clerk’s office. Attending City Council meetings is one way to participate in the governmental process.
