Judges Hold Court Services in Tuba City

Judge Howard Grodman of Coconino County Flagstaff Justice Court and Gerald McCafferty of the Flagstaff Municipal Court will hold court in Tuba City at 1:30 p.m., Nov. 17, 2016, at the Tuba City Judicial District, 240 S. Main St., Tuba City, AZ 86045.

Grodman, McCafferty and District 5 Supervisor Lena Fowler are leading this effort to provide individuals who live in rural Coconino County a chance to appear on outstanding court cases.

“I’m proud to once again partner with Judge Grodman to host court proceedings in Tuba City for people who have difficulty accessing these services in Flagstaff,” said County Board Chair and District 5 Supervisor Lena Fowler. “Judge McCafferty from the Flagstaff Municipal Court will also be there for the first time. I’m excited he can join us and hold court proceedings for people who have outstanding cases with the City of Flagstaff.”

Individuals who have an open criminal or traffic case with the Coconino County Flagstaff Justice Court or Flagstaff Municipal Court, including cases with outstanding warrants, may attend. People can also can use this opportunity to ask a judge to cancel their warrant and appear without being arrested in court.

To have your case heard you must contact County Supervisor Lena Fowler’s office at
928-283-4518 on or before Wednesday, Nov. 16, by 5:00 p.m. The following information needs to be provided:

1. Full name
2. Flagstaff Justice Court or Municipal Court case number (if known)
3. Date of Birth
4. A contact telephone number

If you are not signed up for a court hearing by 5:00 p.m. Nov. 16 you will not be able to have your case heard.
