Boat Dock at Wahweap Marina

During the shutdown, The National Park Service has issued some helpful information and rules for Lake Powell Private Boat Owners during the government shut down at Glen Canyon National Park.

Boat owners will be checked into the park at the entrance and will be asked their name, slip number and purpose of visit.  They will also be required to check out at the conclusion of their visit. The purpose of visit can only be for non-recreational use. Because many boat owners travel from long distances to the park, staying on the boat ONE night will be permitted. Boats are not allowed to leave the marina unless life or property is immediately threatened. Boat owners engaged in recreational pursuits will be contacted by law enforcement personnel.

In addition, Bullfrog, Halls Crossing and Wahweap fuel docks are NOT open to the public.  Dangling Rope fuel dock is open to support vessels returning to port.
