It’s a three peat for the Sand Devil’s boys cross country team.

Page won the team title Saturday at the Division 3 State Championship Meet held at the Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Page finished with 77 points to capture the program’s third trophy in a row and 13th overall. The Sand Devils ran away from the competition, defeating second place Saguaro by 21 points.

Despite having only seventh-place finisher Dorian Daw in the top 10, Page produced six runners total in the top 26 to secure a third consecutive Division III boys championship. Along with Daw’s seventh place finish, Sophomore Morgan Fowler placed 11th, Sophomore Bowen Martin took 17th, Senior Jevon Yazzie placed 18th, Senior Justin Billy finished 24th, and Junior Cullen Nockideneh placed 26th.

The win marked the fourth time in program history Page won at least three straight titles.

Previously, the Sand Devils won three titles in a row from 2003-05, 1997-99 and four straight from 1989-92.

On the girls’ side, Page took 5th overall out of 28 teams. Two runners for the Sand Devils placed inside the top 20. Senior Mariah Yazzie barely missed out on a top 10 finish, placing 11th. Sophomore Sofia Bryan was the only other Page runner in the top 20, finishing 18th.

Congratulations to the Sand Devils cross country runners on another banner year!
