Fredonia Pool

The Town of Fredonia is the recipient of a $176,400 grant for a new swimming pool. The Land and Water Conservation Fund grant was awarded through the National Park Service.  But the Town still needs to raise matching funds of over $300k to start the renovation of the Town Swimming Pool.

The Fredonia Killer Whales swim team has used the pool as a practice place and home base for quite over 12 years now. The Team has been seriously competitive with much larger communities, and has been a source of community pride.  The Team members vary from the communities of Fredonia, Page, Kanab and Orderville.  Every morning during the summer at 7:00 a.m. you’ll see 55-65 dedicated kids practicing in our “puddle.”  (Yes, we need a larger pool!)

Anyone or Business wanting to donate can send a funds to the Fredonia Town Office at 25 N. Main Street, Fredonia, AZ, 86022.

Please make note that the donation is marked for the New Town Pool.
