Sheriff’s spokesman Gerry Blair says 39-year old Tanya Morris telephoned a friend at about 6 p.m. on Monday and said she was going to take her dog on a walk. She never returned. Morris’s vehicle was later located South of I-17 at an overlook near Munds Park. She’s described as a white female, 5-feet-three-inches tall, 120-pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her dog Max, is described as a protective, semi-aggressive shepherd/husky mix. Search and Rescue personnel are combing the area where the missing woman’s vehicle was located in an attempt find her.
