Add an

Events Bank accounts
have been set up for the three victims of the recent hit and run in
Page. All three women continue to recover with serious
injuries at the hospital in Flagstaff. An account has been set
up for donations for Shanderee Laughter and a separate account has
been set up for the Begay sisters. Donations may be made into
their accounts at Altier Credit Union in Page. All money will
help defray the costs incurred by family members staying in
Flagstaff and to help cover medical bills.
Lake Powell
Cruisers will have a cruise night at the Sonic in Page on Friday,
9/10, 7 to 9 p.m. All vehicles are welcome.
Navajo Mountain Chapter meeting on Labor Day at 8 a.m.
Daylight Savings Time. There is a major
pet adoption event planned for Saturday at 9 Poplar Street across
from Fred's Liquors. This is the pet adoption event of
the summer with that sweet good natured pit mix we've been telling
you about and there are lots of puppies, dogs, kittens and
cats. Discount spay and neuter certificates are also

Lost is a 17-year old
Siamese Cat. Large with one bent ear, h was lost at 4th and
Elm Streets in Page. His owner is concerned becuase he needs
medication. Please call 645-6981 if you've seen him.
The Park Service will have Ranger led programs at
Wahweap Amphitheatre Thursday through Saturday nights at 8
p.m. and star viewing with astronomers and a telescope from 4
p.m. until dark at Wahweap.

Funeral Services for Henry Moulton
will be held graveside at Page Cemetary at 10 a.m. on 9/11.
Relay for Life is Saturday, 9/18 starting at 2 p.m. at the
Page Sports Complex. Everyone is encouraged to attend and show
support for cancer survivors and the familes of those
lost.
The Grand Canyon Music Festival is
underway through September 12th on the South Rim at Grand Canyon

The Glen Canyon Lecture Series presents
Paleontologist Scott Sampson with "Dinosaurs of the Lost Continent"
on Tuesday, 9/14, at 7 p.m., and author and adventurer Jonathan
Waterman on 9/28 at 7 p.m. lecturing on his nearly 1500 mile journey
down the Colorado River, at the Carl Hayden Visitor
Center.
The theme of this year's Powell Symposium will
be: Feeding the Grid, Energy on the Colorado Plateau.
The Powell Symposium takes place September 17th through the
